New Delhi, July 25, 2014 – At Shivam, we are proud to present the stunning offering from Maruti Suzuki, the Ertiga Limited Edition, a car that combines style, performance, ease of use, affordability and innovative technology in an unprecedented way. The new Ertiga Limited Edition has qualities that inspire confidence and urge customers to step up a notch and experience change like never before.
Maruti Suzuki has equipped the limited edition Ertiga with visual upgrades such as 10-spoke alloy wheels, roof-mounted spoilers, a sleek chrome grille, chrome door handles as well as new body decals. Extra equipment includes an audio system and a rear parking sensor with a display. The car also gets black and beige dual tone interiors, fake wood trim for the dashboard and limited edition floor mats.
Ertiga Limited Edition is in line with the company’s vision to offer product differentiation to customers who aspire for features over and above the product strengths of high fuel efficiency, interior comfort, ease of driving and flexi seating.
On Ertiga Day (23rd July 2014), the Ertiga Limited Edition received a grand launch at Shivam Lakshanchandi. The launch was even more special and peppy because of the joy and enthusiasm of our happy customers. Among the distinguished guests we had an actress Neha Iyer from Zee TVs Qubool Hai and our Managing Director – Mr. Samir Jani.
The Ertiga Limited Edition significance in the Indian car market can be gauged from the fact that Shivam Maruti decided to host a cake-cutting ceremony and give the car a first birthday party while unveiling it to the world. It is expected that the Ertiga Limited Edition will boost sales in a weakening domestic car market and positively alter the 10% slump that this sector has seen. With the kind of curiosity the Ertiga Limited Edition is generating in potential customers, we at Shivam feel that these expectations would definitely come true.
On the outside, the Ertiga Limited Edition features a rear spoiler, chrome grille and door handles and added body graphics and decals. The limited edition car will be available in a new Pearl Blaze Blue paint shade in addition to white and silver shades.
On the inside, the Maruti Ertiga Limited Edition gets wooden trim around the instrument panel and in the doors and limited edition floor mats as part of the cosmetic changes. As for features, this variant adds rear parking sensors and a better audio system but there’s still no climate control. There are no mechanical changes and the limited edition car is powered by the same 89bhp 1.3-litre diesel engine and 94bhp 1.4-litre petrol motor.
Besides these cosmetic upgrades, the limited edition Ertiga will be mechanically identical to the regular car. The Ertiga is available with two engine options- a 1.4-litre K-Series petrol and a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel. The former produces 93bhp and 130Nm of torque while the latter produces 89bhp and 200Nm of torque. Both the engines power the front wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox.
It would only be fair to say that Maruti Suzuki’s Ertiga Limited Edition intends to not just change the way people drive their LUV, but change the very idea of what a LUV is and could be. And the best part is that all this comes at prices people can afford.
At Shivam Maruti, therefore, we invite one and all to come and experience this breathtaking piece of automotive machinery and see their life curve with style and unmatched best-in-class technological prowess. After all, there’s a reason why both Shivam Maruti and the Maruti Ertiga Limited Edition are a class unto their own.
