Bangalore, September 04, 2017: August 31st, 2017 is an important day in the Almanac of The Brigade Schools as the Sky walk in The Brigade School at J P Nagar was inaugurated by Shri RK Chaturvedi IAS, Chairman, CBSE.
The skywalk facilitates the easy movement of students from the main building of the school to the football and volley ball fields across the busy stretch of the Brigade Millennium Avenue Road. This road which more often than not is exposed to traffic snarls during peak hours. Therefore the sky walk will largely benefit students whose safety and security is of prime concern importance to The Brigade Schools.
Shri R K Chaturvedi IAS, Chairman CBSE, amid much fanfare and applause cut the ribbon and did the honors. He was given a floral welcome by the students of The Brigade School@ JP Nagar. He was accompanied by Mr. JayprakashChaturvedi , Deputy Secretary Affiliation and MrBiswajitSaha , Addl Director Academics and Vocation .
The sky walk was festooned with colourful banners and buntings. This enclosed aerial skywalk was done up aesthetically in the school colours, very appealing to the eye.
