New Delhi, Jan 16 (UNI) In order to register a two-fold hike in exports of food items in next five years, the Department of Commerce in association with Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) would organise ‘Indus Food’– a two-day Mega International Food and Beverage (F&B) Trade show.
Giving the details of the event, Santosh Sarangi, Joint Secretary in Department of Commerce said at a press conference here on Tuesday that the show will be at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida from January 18.
The aim is to help doubling the income of farmers and those associated with the food and agro industry.
He said that the event will be inaugurated by Union Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu.
Indus Food will see participation of over 400 exhibitors including representations from over 12 states and Departments.
