New Delhi, January 19, 2018: She is a Masters Degree holder in Foods and Nutrition. She has been with the Coffee Board as Assistant Cuptaster, where her primary role was to “taste” coffees, marketed by the Board. Sunalini Menon became the first woman to be
appointed in the officer’s cadre at Coffee Board. She has been at the helm of tasks as Director (Quality Control) of the Coffee Board in 1978 and has served for 20 years. In 2005 she received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA) in Seattle, United States.
