Bengaluru, November 17, 2018: To celebrate Children’s Day, Colours of Life supported by Embassy Group have once again teamed up with LXL Ideas Pvt Ltd to run the fun-filled and vibrant ‘Colours of Life Sinchana’ event, across 14 government schools at Ambedkar Bhawan. Now in its third year, Colours of Life Sinchana 2018 again offered the opportunity to participate in an action-packed interschool competition – with a host of exciting categories such as essay writing and public speaking to creative contests for mehendi design, dance, singing and fancy dress.

Students from 6th to 10th grade were welcomed with great fanfare to the Ambedkar Bhavan Auditorium where they performed with enthusiasm and skill.  The event was inaugurated by Dr. Shalini Rajneesh, Principal Secretary to Government of Karnataka department of education who encouraged children to dream big and achieve great heights

Simran Chandok, Trustee, Colours of Life summarized the event’s aims by saying, “Sinchana is an exciting opportunity for students to participate, perform, learn, be challenged and inspired, have fun and above all grow in confidence as individuals. The annual event is an important part of our wider work helping government schools transform themselves into institutes of excellence. We are very thankful to Embassy Group for supporting Colours of Life in broadening horizons for students and for helping us to inspire and educate children to become responsible and confident citizens.

Shaina Ganapathy, Head of Community Outreach, Embassy Group commented, “It has been a wonderful journey with Colours of Life as we’ve worked together to open new educational doors for Bangalore’s under-privileged students, and we commend them for initiating an event like Sinchana which enhances the learning of children in such a dynamic way. It’s our aim that in the coming years even larger numbers of local students will have the opportunity to learn, grow and express themselves as we continue to support Sinchana.”
