NativeLead Foundation is a focused organization working to build a positive eco-system in tier II & III regions for the growth of innovation based on new-age entrepreneurial culture, especially in south Tami Nadu. MSR Rajsanthosh, Chairperson of Yi, and R Sivarajah, Founder and Director of Nativelead Foundation, said in a joint press meet here that potential business ideas would be identified through the contest and promoted with the help of mentoring by mainstream entrepreneurs and funding by angel investors.
R Sivarajah said that creating new entrepreneurs and improving the SME sector is becoming increasingly vital. The contest would be organized separately for the serious mainstream entrepreneurs and college students.
Objective
The primary objective of the contest is to identify mainstream entrepreneurs with innovative ideas and informing them of opportunities and investors, apart from connecting them to the right resources. The contest for students is to give them an experience in innovation and entrepreneurship and their ideas will be appropriately awarded with a citation and prize money, he added.
Entries for the contest can be submitted on www.aarambam.in from September 17 to October 15.
Evaluation
The preliminary evaluation sessions will be conducted at Thiagarajar College of Arts, Madurai, on October 27, PSNA Engineering College, Dindigul, on October 28 and Virudhunagar on October 29. Ten outstanding entries from each category will be selected for the finals to be held at Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Tirupparankundram near here, on November 8. Business Line
