Bangalore, April 30,2019: Continuing to relentlessly practise its ‘Make In India’ philosophy since 2009, HHV Pumps Pvt. Ltd., a leading Vacuum Pumping Solutions and services provider and part of the HHV Group, has announced the setting up of its new state–of-the-art manufacturing facility, spread over an area of 52,000 sq.ft., at T.Begur, Nelamangala Taluk, Bangalore.

This new facility set up at an initial investment of Rs. 10 crore, was officially inaugurated by Sri S.V. Narasaiah, the Founder and Chairman of the HHV Group which was established in 1965 to develop Indian self reliance in high vacuum technology. Sri Narasaiah is considered to be the pioneer of vacuum technology in India.

HHV Pumps Design, Development and Applications team have been mentored by ex-Edwards personnel. Continuity of this core team has helped it to become the ONLY Indian manufacturer with world class products and solutions for the Rough Vacuum (Pick & place, Job holding, Wood working, Thermoforming etc.), Medium Vacuum (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Transformer oil filtration, Distillation etc.) and the High Vacuum (Industrial and Scientific R&D, High Vacuum Distillation, Space Simulation etc.) segments.

The new facility, with employee strength of 65, will manufacture vacuum pumping solutions of international standards including the Two stage Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps, Single stage Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps, Roots Boosters, Multi-stage Dry Vacuum Pumps and Multi-stage Dry Vacuum Pumping Systems.”

“The new unit will have 90% of the maching activity located in-house. The target markets for our products would be Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Chemical/Pharma, Electrical and Power, General/ Industrial (including Packing), Research and Development, Solar for lamination and Others. We expect a turnover of Rs. 38 crores for the current financial year from this unit.”, added Prasanth Sakhamuri
