Kanakia Monsoon Marathon Challenge 2019 to take place on July 28

Mumbai, July 24, 2019: The eighth edition of Kanakia Monsoon Marathon Challenge (KMMC) 2019 will witness over 3,500 runners participating in three race categories – 5km, 10km and Half Marathon 21km whereas the half marathon will commence at 6am followed by 10km & 5km together at 6.15am on July 28. KMMC is a qualifier for leading marathons in India.

An initiative by RunIndiaRun, KMMC 2019 will witness 550 participating in the half marathon, 2500 in the 10km category and 650 running in the 5km race. 50 kids between the ages of 10 to 17 yrs will be competing with each other.

The race will witness some inspirational runners like Amarjit Singh who is visually impaired. The youngest male runner is 10 years old and will be participating in the5km run, while the oldest male runner is 80 years old and is going to run 10km, whereas the oldest female runner is 71 years old and the youngest female runner is11 years and both are going to run 5km respectively.

This year 100+ corporate leaders along with Managing Director of Kanakia Group, Mr. Himanshu Kanakia will be participating in KMMC 2019. The corporates will be seen running in three different categories.
