Sri K J George, Hon’ble Minister for Home assures Industry leaders of a rethink on ban on movement of Medium and Heavy Vehicle goods vehicles in the city during day time
Bangalore, Jan 09, 2015 – Sri S Sampathraman, President, FKCCI met Hon’ble Home Minister Shri K J George at his residence today to apprise him on the serious problems faced by the Manufacturers and Traders owing to the ban on movement of Medium and Heavy Vehicle goods vehicles throughout the day time.
The movement being restricted only to the night period makes it very difficult for arranging the required technical and skilled staff and manpower for the unloading, receipt and accounting of the incoming material. This will also result in theft, and add to security problems.
Mr Sampathraman and office bearers of various lorry owners and transporters associations explained the difficulties to the Hon’ble Minister who was kind enough to assure a rethink on allowing vehicles between 11AM to 4 PM after a meeting of the Commissioner of Traffic with concerned people at FKCCI immediately.
The Minister was also kind enough to assure that after getting the inputs a solution which is favourable to all the stake holders will be taken by him. CCI Newswire
