Patel Engineering Bags Urban Infra Projects from Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai

Construction firm Patel Engineering has received two-urban infrastructure projects worth Rs 377.04 crore from the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.

A statement from Patel Engineering, said, “The company has bagged a Rs 195.21 crore order for rehabilitation of sewerage lines spread across different stretches across the suburban areas in Mumbai.”

It was also said that the Rs 181.83-crore project is in regard to the development of the tunnels from Powai to Veravali and Powai to Ghatkopar high-level reservoir and from Ghatkopar high-level reservoir to Ghatkopar low-level reservoir. The project also consists of construction of shafts and allied works.

Presently, Patel Engineering is executing Rs 363.05-crore road project for the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). This project is from Shivane to Mhatrae Bridge (Phase-1) and Sangamwadi to Kharadi (Phase-3) in Pune.

The company is an integrated construction firm which specialises in hydro-power generation, irrigation and urban infrastructure projects. Patel Engineering has got arms in US and executed projects in Arabian Gulf, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan.
