DROR partners with MobiKwik to launch first-ever ‘Social Distancing Contest’

National, April 29, 2020: In a bid to encourage people to practice social distancing to overcome the COVID-19 global pandemic, DROR, India’s first personal safety app to introduce ‘social distancing score’, launched a first of its kind ‘Social Distancing Contest’, in association with MobiKwik. Boosting the spirit of togetherness as well as spreading awareness on the importance of social distancing to contain the spread of COVID-19 in India, the contest aims to inspire and felicitate people who are adhering to the suggested health advisoriesThrough the created platform, users will now be able to share their social distancing score and drive forward the message through this thought-led community-driven initiative that is playing a vital role in flattening the curve.

Amplifying the core message of the contest by reaching out to all android users, the contest revolves around the app’s pioneering feature, ‘Social Distancing Score’. To participate in the contest, users must register in DROR’s community post which they can keep track of their daily, weekly and fortnightly social distancing scores. Based on these scores, the Social Distancing Contest will choose a few lucky winners with the highest social distancing scores and reward them with wallet-cash vouchers up to INR 5000 through MobiKwik digital wallet.

Further increasing the engagement factor amongst users and making each one of them involved and aware of the fact that they’re making a difference, the initiative will also enable users to share their Social Distancing score across social networking sites such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. With the onus to make the contest a highly-interactive one, users can also share their social distancing picture while sharing their scores and show everyone how they are maintaining social distancing.
