Growel’s 101 Mall hosted 17-days of fun filled activities for children to mark this summer

Mumbai, May 27, 2015: With the idea to offer the enjoyable learning experience, Growel’s 101 Mall hosted 17-days of fun filled activities from May 8 to May 24 for children this summer at their premises in Kandivali East. Following in the footsteps of an overwhelming participant’s response in the year 2014, this year again, the summer festival witnessed 2500+ new entries with the participation of 300 kids each day. With almost 30 unique activities for kids aging from 6 to 14, the aim of the carnival was to encourage the kids to utilize their valuable time in honing up their skills and showcase their latent talents.

Talking about the summer carnival, Urvi Vira, Head Mall Marketing, Growel’s 101 Mall said , “The idea of Bachchon Ka Boom was to offer something innovative and unconventional to our customers. In today’s fast life and work pressures, many parents are unable to spend quality time with their children. Especially, to occupy the kids in a better way during their summer vacations is always a concern for parents. So we thought of hosting some FUN learning activities that can best engage the kids and help them improve their skills and knowledge. We are happy with the success of the event and intend to host more such activities in the days to come.”

This infotainment carnival provided a plethora of opportunities for kids in the suburbs to participate in these activities designed especially for them. The participants got a chance to be trained by the acclaimed trainers from various part of the city. The activities included quiz competitions, puppet making workshop, photography workshop, comic strip making, calligraphy workshop and filmmaking workshop. The grand finale of the event saw the active participation of the kids in different co-curricular activities including displays of their handmade items.

Growel’s 101 awarded Faheem Khan with a tablet for winning the Grand Final Quiz contest. Addressing the moment, Mrs. Khan, mother of Faheem said, “It gives me immense pleasure to see my son’s hard work being rewarded so well.
