NexGTv – India’s preferred entertainment destination on the mobile announced that it has joined the second season of CineShorts – Viacom18 Motion Pictures’ program for budding creative entrepreneurs, as its Exclusive Digital Partner. While providing upcoming filmmakers with a platform to showcase their talent through a five-minute short film like last year, CineShorts 2 challenges the participants to making a short film on a novel concept of “Falling” in Love but with a twist.
Curated by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, ‘Cine Shorts’ Season 2 “call for Entries” is now Open and once submitted, the Top 30 shortlisted entries will be exclusively made available on nexGTv for the digital audience.

While CineShorts’ first season had the theme of ‘Fighting the Odds,’ the theme for second season is to make a short film on the concept of ‘ Falling in Love‘ but with a twist.
Industry personalities like director-producer David Dhawan, director Sriram Raghavan, Viacom18 Motion Pictures COO Ajit Andhare, and cinematographer Ayananka Bose will form the jury to evaluate the entries.
NexGTv will be canvassing participation for CineShorts 2 via in-app communication as well as promotions via its social media handles.
