GNIOT organized android application development workshop

New Delhi, November 26, 2015 : Greater Noida Institute of technology (GNIOT) organised a workshop on “ANDROID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT” at its camp. The program was inaugurated by Manoj Kumar, Technical expert; Ducat Pvt. Ltd.

During the workshop students were introduced to basics of Android OS work through modules throughout the day. Modules included designing effective navigation, managing audio playback, hooking up widgets such as buttons, list views, applying skins, themes, interfacing GPS, camera etc. To top it off students ended up by building a sample projects that can be taken to modify. Workshop was designed to demonstrate best practices for solving common Android development problems and the steps required to solve a problem, or implementing a feature, with code snippets and sampling codes to use within the apps.

Rohit Garg, Director, GNIOT says that “Students learned how to develop applications in the latest operating system with practical implementation. Lot of them have ideas for great apps bouncing around in their brains, but lack the skills necessary to bring ideas to life. In this workshop students learned all about the Android SDK as well as the basic building blocks of making an Android App.
