India Kids Fashion Week in association with MAX concludes on a spectacular note in Delhi

New Delhi, July 04, 2016: The Delhi edition of India Kids Fashion Week (IKFW) 2016 in association with MAX concluded with refreshing styles and new trends making a grand entry in the kids fashion week. National and International kidswear brands left no stone unturned to astound the audience with their finest collections for tiny tots and teens. Jointly organized by CraftWorld and Event Capital, the fashion extravaganza saw over 20 brands and ace designers display ravishing collections for kids. The mini divas stole the hearts of the audiences in their attires and with their confidence on ramp.

Day 2 at the event saw some spectacular collections by One Friday, Sheena Luxury, Suutra, Dream Pearl, Tota, Biba Girls, Red Circle, The children’s Place.

The event on Day 2 was opened by One Friday which has brought International designs to India with their spectacular collection. Doremon, highly adored by kids throughout the world won over the hearts of not only kids but also the audience when he walked on the ramp for brand. One Friday’s surf paradise collection had unique designs which depicted the way of life of kids. Neon pops of colour throughout the collection were a perfect match with the optimistic and happy high summer mood of kids. Anjali Raut, former Miss India, the showstopper for One Friday was seen in a red knee length dress with gold earrings which complemented her look on the ramp.

Collection by Sheena Luxury presented classy designs on ramp that represented a line of smart casuals for kids. Bright colors dominated the collection of the brand.

Collection of Suutra Kids presented an eclectic mix of 4 distinctly different looks- The Sorbet Splash, The Royal Pavilllion, The Preppy and Festive Fervour completed the 360 degree wardrobe for kids. From shirts for the boys to bandhgalas, from dresses for the girls to patioala salwaars, Suutra collection had everything for kids under their umbrella.

The collection put up Dream Pearls was a mix of casuals, smart casuals and formals for the kids. The Brand’s collection boasts of simplicity via depicting the line of Shakespeare ‘life is a drama’ and thus the outfits too depicted colourful drama of kids’ everyday life.

Collection by TOTA hadarefreshing take on children’s clothing as their collection was all of natural hand-woven textiles. Whole collection was made of Ikat fabric and was embellished with hand embroidery. Traditional Indian textiles dominated clean and fuss-free silhouettes in entire collection of TOTA.

BIBA collection signified that spring-summer is all about fun and adventure clothing. Collection of long, flowy & multi layered silhouettes in varied prints and soft pastels was seen presented on ramp by young and teen girls. BIBA’s range was exhibited various designs in bottoms, pants, pallazos, shararas which redefine the look for the season. A lot of shibori, embroidery and traditional were a part of BIBA’s collection. Natasha Suri, former Miss India was seen walking the ramp for the Brand in a bright orange colored dress.

Kids walking in the collection of Red Circle made a made a striking statement on stage. Embroidery, embellishment, motifs all were used to reflect the casual and cheerful mood of kids full of energy. Bright and pastel colors of the collection were perfectly in sync with the happy go lucky mood of the kids. Bhavyata Sharma wore gorgeous red color gown. Golden color dominated the embroidery of her gown and accessories she spotted for the ramp walk for India Kids Fashion week.

Stylemylo which is a renowned one stop destination for luxury designer kids wear presented huge variety in their collection having ethnic, couture, party and semi-formal designer dresses for kids.Catering to kids between 0-14 years, Stylemylo’s ensembles were a multi brand collection showcasing collections from Minikin by Poonam Kasera, Chiquitita by Payal Behl, Fayon by Preeti Jatia, Little Stars, Samta n shruti, GT by gunjan, Two Feet, Janyas closet.

Think like a mom, see like a kid, Children’s Place’s collection was all fun and play for kids and parents alike. Americas’ largest retail kids apparel brand showcased clothes till the age of 14 years of kids. From infants to Teens, Children’s Place collection has many options for everyone to choose from. Kids adored Brand’s summer collection on the ramp which included sleepwear, dresses, formals, shoes, sunglasses, and backpacks.

The event wrapped up with renowned Bollywood actor Tisca Chopra walking the ramp for The Children’s Place. She sashayed down the ramp in a light pink floor length gown with minimal accessories and her mesmerising smile. She looked elegant and classy on the ramp as always. Her connection with the kids was amazing as she matched dance steps with them on the stage.
