President Macri’s Entire Cabinet of Ministers to Attend First Ever Argentina Business & Investment Forum

Argentina, August 11, 2016: From September 12- 15, Buenos Aires will host the inaugural ARGENTINA BUSINESS AND INVESTMENT FORUM. Every minister from the Argentine government will gather alongside over 1500 political and business leaders from around the world, to discuss the economic vision of the Argentine government explore the investment opportunities the country has to offer.

The ARGENTINA BUSINESS AND INVESTMENT FORUM marks Argentina’s return to international markets, following a range of macro-economic reforms introduced by President Macri and the country’s first international bond issue in 15 years. The scale of ministerial attendance underlines the enormous importance the entire Argentine government places on attracting international investment to spur stable, long-term economic growth.

Last week Argentina’s Investment and Trade Promotion Agency also announced that the international speakers from the global business community would include: Bob Dudley, Group Chief Executive of BP; Maurice Raymond ‘Hank’ Greenberg, CEO of C.V. Starr & Co.; Donna Hrinak, President, Latin America of Boeing; Joe Kaeser, President & CEO of Siemens; Muhtar Kent, Chairman & CEO of The Coca-Cola Company; Miguel Kozuszok, President, Latin America of Unilever; Andrew Liveris, Chairman & CEO of Dow Chemical; Peter Orszag, Vice Chairman of Lazard; and Sir Martin Sorrell, Founder and CEO of WPP.
