Noida, September 07, 2016: IMS Noida, a leading institution in the country recently conducted an Induction cum Orientation Program for its PGDM, BBA and BCA. The induction program excited all the students immensely to show a glimpse of the real world of business and industry, and also the opportunities that await when they graduate. The Programme was designed to support both students in their future settling into corporate life as well as the best possible foundation for success in students studies at IMS NOIDA.
Addressing the students and faculties Dr. Kamaljit Singh Anand, Executive Director IMS NOIDA, welcomed students to the new semester & motivated them to adopt learning by doing. He emphasized that it is important for students to remain employable by inculcating the right mix of skills. He urged students to develop skills like adaptability, decision making, being result oriented along with efficiency and effectively.
The orientation programme helped the students in getting introduced to their fellow classmates, key members of faculty, management and administrative teams. It also helped students come face-to face with leaders from corporate and academic sides, who shared their thoughts and insights related to areas concerning the students present and future.
The dignitaries present for the occasion included Mr SMH Siddiqui, GM – HR idea Cellular, Mr Manek Narang – AGM Corporate Rating, Credit Analysis and Research Limited, Dr DJ Pati, Dean Academics IMS Noida and Ms Kalpana Sinha, Head Entrepreneurship Cell IMS Noida. Other speakers included Ms Sitara Krishnan, Executive British Council and Mr Vikas Jain, from Pearson addressed to the Orientation Programme.
