Bengaluru, January 06, 2017: The first direct flight from Bengaluru to Colombo of Jet Airways was held on 4th January 2017 at Bangalore International Airport, Shri. Ravi, Senior Vice-President, FKCCI inaugurated the event at midnight 12.40 a.m. It is the first Indian Carrier and also a daily fight to fly to Sri Lanka from Bengaluru.
The Inaugural event was attended by Mr. Hari Marar, President, Airport Operations, KIAL, Mr. Alok Sawhney, General Manager, Jet Airways, Mr. Raj Andrade, Vice-President, Business Development Meeting & Strategy, KIAL and Mr. U. Harish Shenoy, General Manager, South India Jet Airways.
