Baby Laser Tag, a New Augmented-Reality Experience from Amazon Prime Video Will Immerse Fans in the World of The Boys from the Comfort of their Own Home or Hideout
New Delhi, September 04, 2020: In anticipation of the second season of the Amazon Original Series The Boys, Prime Video is launching Baby Laser Tag, their first augmented reality-enabled iOS and Android game. Available to download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, Baby Laser Tag will provide fans the opportunity to enter into the world of The Boys and fight Supes. Baby Laser Tag will be available to download in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese versions.
Featuring 3D-scanned character models from the show and built in Unity using AR Foundation, players will battle Vought agents and The Seven in an immersive AR-enhanced fight to the finish. The goal? Survive as long as you can and just blast everything. Along the way, fans can explore in-game objects from the new season, compete for a spot on the global leaderboard, and share their own blood-spattered selfie.
Season 1 of The Boys is currently available on Prime Video. The eight-episode second season of The Boys will premiere the first three episodes on Friday, September 4 with new episodes available each Friday following, culminating in an epic season finale on October 9.
The even more intense, more insane season two finds The Boys on the run from the law, hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes centre stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.
The Supes of The Seven also include Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott), A-Train (Jessie T. Usher), The Deep (Chace Crawford) and Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell). Recurring stars in season two include Claudia Doumit, Goran Visnijc, Malcolm Barrett, Colby Minifie, Shantel VanSanten, Cameron Crovetti, PJ Byrne, Laila Robbins and Giancarlo Esposito returning as Vought boss Stan Edgar, among others.
The Amazon Prime Video original series is co-produced by Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television Studios with Point Grey Pictures, Kripke Enterprises and Original Film.
