New Delhi, September 29, 2026: Mr. Amit Pai, Managing Director of Poltrona Frau India, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI). Established in Mumbai in 1966, the IICCI is an association of Indian and Italian companies, professionals, and organizations dedicated to fostering commercial and industrial cooperation between the two nations.
Today, the Chamber has a network of more than 750 members, seven offices across India and two antennas in Italy, and is officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. The appointment brings his experience in the luxury, design and interiors industry to an organisation that works towards strengthening business ties and creating greater opportunities between India and Italy.
Amit Pai has been instrumental in introducing Poltrona Frau’s Italian craftsmanship and design philosophy to the Indian market while cultivating strategic partnerships across the luxury and design sectors. As the leader of “Interiors in Motion,” he extends the brand’s expertise into bespoke interiors for luxury automotive, aviation, maritime, and other high-end applications, including collaborations with Jaguar Land Rover, McLaren, Ducati, and Singapore Airlines.
Established in 1912, Poltrona Frau is a distinguished Italian luxury furniture brand recognized for its heritage, sophisticated design, and authentic Italian craftsmanship. Under Mr. Pai’s leadership since 2016, Poltrona Frau India has expanded its footprint across major metropolitan areas, operating six showrooms dedicated to premium residential and high-end commercial projects.
