Anurag Chauhan curates a Virtual Literary Festival admist nationwide lockdown.

New Delhi, April 25, 2020: The festival will be held between 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Instagram live. The speaker list includes renowned author Shobha De, actress Lisa Ray, singer Padmashri Dr. Soma Ghosh, Art Scholar & Director of JNCC – Moscow Dr. Usha Rk, beauty & wellness expert Vasudha Rai, bollywood choreographer Sandip Soparrkar, eminent musician Brian Silas, acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, India’s first female Dastangoi artist Fouzia Dastango & poet Apurva Bikram Shah.
One the first day Shobha De will be talking about her life journey as a writer and how she became one of the biggest names in the industry. Shobha will also be talking about her upcoming book. Apurva Bikram Shah would be reciting the veer raas poetry talking about the greatness of the soldiers. Fouzia Dastango would be reciting parts of Mahabharat in Urdu and would be telling many other stories. Dastangoi is a 13th century artform of story telling. Sandip Soparkar a bollywood dance choreographer would be relating dance and literature and would be presenting 7 vows of marriage in a form of dance. Padmashri Dr. Soma ghosh would be ending the beautiful evening with her beautiful voice – taking us through journey of music – Rig veda to bollywood . She would also be talking about her father Bharat Ratna Ustad Bismillah Khan sahab.
On the second day Dr. Usha RK (Director JNCC- Moscow) would be talking about art & artists, how would they be affected by this pandemic and what is the government doing about the same. She would also be talking about why and how we should preserve our rich art & culture of India. Vasudha Rai who is a leading beauty and wellness expert would be talking about how to keep one self healthy and giving some self care tips from her book Glow, published by Penguin India. Laxmi Agarwal an acid attack survivor would be talking about domestic violence and what are the ways to deal with it.. Lisa Ray would be spreading positivity talking about her book and why is it important to stay positive. She would be talking about how to cope with negativity as she has been a cancer survivor too. Brian Silas would be playing piano to end the session.. 
All the speakers will be in conversation with Anurag Chauhan, who is the curator & presentor of this event. There has been a sudden rise in the cases of depression & lonliness, this event could be a treat to all.
