BMGI – Recognizing HR Excellence at HR Awards 2015

Mumbai, Mar 24, 2015: Breakthrough Management Group India (BMGI) was the strategic advisor to the event HR Awards 2015 organized by Conference Asia for recognizing top performing senior level HR leaders across industries. The awards function was held at Hotel Holiday Inn, Mumbai on the 13thof March 2015. Industry thought leaders & senior human resources professionals from across industries that included IT & ITes, BFSI, Manufacturing, Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals, Infrastructure & Construction, Oil & Gas and services sector such as Insurance, Telecom, BPO graced the occasion.

Nirmalya Banerjee , BMGI India’s Business Head moderated the key note panel discussion deliberating on the topic “Making Human Resources Future-Ready”. The panel comprised eminent representation from the industry viz.,Dr. Deepak Deshpande – Senior Vice President-HR,Netmagic Solutions, Dr. Chandra Mauli Dwivedi -Director, N L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research, Dr. D Prasanth Nair – Head HR , BookmyCab.com, Director – Strategy at Akar & Medicca Press & Managing Partner atInhelm Leadership Solution, Pratik Vaidya – Managing Director, Karma Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd & Nabomita Mazumdar – Partner, CiteHr.
The panel discussions emphasised on the significance of innovation and how companies should dedicate time for encouraging people to think differently. Panelists expressed their views on constant revamping and enhancing employees with the required soft skills to be great problem solvers. It was observed during the discussion that importance of communication, one’s ability to think beyond, inquisitiveness, adaptability as some of the key skills for employabilty.
Following the panel discussion, Pratik Vaidya – Managing Director, Karma Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd shared how their organization has been addressing key issues such as Indian Labour laws, compliance issues, etc. He emphasised the importance of being connected with ex-employees using technology –creating forums for alumns etc.
