Canadian Agro India looking for big venture in Indian Market

New Delhi, September 21, 2016: Today, in a glittering event Canapure Canola Cooking oil was launched in New Delhi by Canadian Agro India Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Greg Morhun from Bunge Canada & Mr Rakesh Gupta, MD – Canadian Agro India Pvt Ltdin the presence of Padam Shree Chef Imtiaz Qureshi, Chef Abhijit Shah and Mr Rob McCubbing, Counsellor, and Head of Trade Program for North India on behalf of the High commissioner of Canada .

The function was attended by diplomats, trade and renowned food experts and chefs. An Entertainment programme was performed by artist from Egypt and his moves were applauded by all the guests. The Counsellor Trade of Canada spoke about the strong India-Canada Relations and complimented on this venture for providing quality healthy cooking oil from Canada to the Indian consumers.

Mr. Rakesh Gupta, MD – Canadian Agro India Pvt Ltd said, “We have more than 100 sales staff across country, and in first quarter we have estimated to trade 500 ton oil to both B2C & B2B market, and we aim to be obtainable in more than 1 million retail outlets in addition to modern trade across the India”.

Mr. Greg Morhun, Vice President-Export Sales of Bunge Canada also emphasized the co-operation between the two companies and pledged his company’s whole-hearted support for establishing the markets in India.

A new milestone was created where Canadian Agro India Pvt Ltd announced their Corporate Social responsibility in the beginning of its venture by signing an agreement with Rotary International District 3141 for contributing towards the pediatric heart surgeries for underprivileged children.
