Chartered Speed Signs MoU with GIFT City To Speed Up EV Adoption

Ahmedabad/Mumbai, May 10, 2022:  Mobility services provider Chartered Speed has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GIFT City – India’s first Smart City and IFSC, to work together towards building a dynamic Electric Vehicles (EV) ecosystem in the city. The collaboration aims to enhance public transport facilities for commuting to and from GIFT city, as well as promote and strengthen EV infrastructure in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar region.

As part of the MoU, Chartered Speed will provide EV mobility for intra and inter-city travel in which the company will operate electric bus service connecting GIFT City with Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar and provide electric bikes for convenience of people working, residing and visiting GIFT City.  Chartered Speed will manage the day-to-day fleet operations, including drivers, route, fare and fare collection, maintenance of buses, and the setting up of charging infrastructure across GIFT City.
