CRISP India signs an MOU with NSDC to promote skill development mission in India

The National Skill Development Corporation of India (NSDC) under a Public Private Partnership promoted by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Center for Research & Industrial Staff Performance (CRISP), India to explore national and international opportunities for strengthening skills development in India.

Mr. Mukesh Sharma, CEO of CRISP and Mr. Dilip Chenoy, MD & CEO, NSDC signed and exchanged the MOU recently in Delhi.

The main objective of this collaboration is to work jointly on projects and plans for capacity building of NSDC partnering institutions for offering value added services to the Skill development initiative in India. Additionally, they will create suitable interventions for state level operations, which will offer quality-oriented skills and services in an efficient manner.

NSDC offers the financial support for creating measurable and profit focused vocational training initiatives. Whereas CRISP offer sustainable development via organizational and human resources development, advanced level skill training, tooling and precision machining, vocational education and training an IT consultancy. Thus the union would be symbiotic in nature, since both the organisations have strong footings in their respective arenas.

MR. MUKESH SHARMA, CEO OF CRISP said that this collaboration will benefit both the organization and we will offer services, which will help in the growth and development of skills in the country. He emphasized on the necessity of such collaboration for honing the knowledge of the current generation technocrats.

Centre for Research and Industrial Staff Performance, (CRISP), Bhopal has been established in the year 1997 as a Society under the Indo –German Technical Cooperation agreement. Ministry of MSME, Government of India was the line ministry for this project whereas the Department of Technical Education & Skill Development, Government of Madhya Pradesh and German Technical Cooperation agency (GTZ) were the implementation partners. It is headquartered in Bhopal with national & international operations dedicated to human resource development & organizational development.
