New Delhi, November 20, 2016: Demonetization has struck the nation hard in terms of living. Though there is a little uneasiness going on in the daily routine of most of the Indians, the report says that 72% of people throughout agree with the decision.

SoGoSurvey, a leading provider of online survey software and recognized expert in survey methodology, conducted a survey across India to find how Indians reacted to the sudden ban implemented on 500 & 1000 rupee currency.This survey went out to people across India in the age group from 18 to 65. The survey was conducted between the 10th & 17th of November. Around 60% of Indian supported the decisions made by Government.the Sample size of survey is 1640.

The government’s move to scrap nearly 23.2 billion high-value currency notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000, was in the pipeline for several months but was kept tightly under wraps, with just a handful of officials in the know.The Reserve Bank of India’s central board had approved the production of the Rs. 2,000 notes several months ago and even began production of the new Rs. 500 and Rs. 2,000 notes, which were issued from November 10.
