Whisked into the province of Keekatpur, which is under the fist of Lord Kali, Kalki sees the ignominy of death trumping life all around him. He learns that he has been born to cleanse the world he lives in, for which he must journey to the North and learn the ways of Lord Vishnu’s Avatar; from an immortal who wields an axe.

Kevin Missal at the time of launch said “I always wanted to create an Indian Hero, Since childhood I looked up to Percy Jackson, Pendragon, Harry Potter and I have never read about an Indian hero. So my journey starts from there, I began fleshing out a god who was not properly explored and I made a hero that young kids could look up to.”

“So if someone asked me what is kalki. I would say it’s about creating childhoods. I began researching about Kalki, who was created out of the Huna and shaka invasion, according to history. I researched for two years and completed the book in a month,” Added Kevin
