Bengaluru, February 19, 2019: Digit Insurance—a new age insurance company which aims to “Make Insurance Simple”— today announced receiving two recognitions during the 15th Annual IBAI Brokers Summit held in Mumbai. Insurance Brokers Association of India (IBAI) is the only apex body of licensed Insurance Brokers recognized by IRDAI.
The two recognitions received are:
- Digit Insurance has received the award for qualifying in first percentile (Top 75%) in the category “Broker’s vote on an overall basis”.
- Digit Insurance rated the second highest in category no. 10 – Brokers vote on Technology Orientation and Presence of a Digital platform.
This recognition was a result of a survey done by IBAI called, ‘IBAI Broker Friendly Insurance Survey 2019’ where the satisfaction level of more that 100+ brokers were surveyed. The survey measured satisfaction under categories like: Rewards Payment, Integrity, Timely Response, Handling Claims and Grievances and Technology Orientation and Presence of a Digital platform.
Digit Insurance has been rated Grade A in the categories of Technology Orientation and Presence of a Digital platform and Timely Turnaround of RFQ and Accurate Endorsements. Digit Insurance has achieved this recognition among the other top insurance players in the industry who were also running the race.
This achievement for Digit Insurance is special as the company has won this within the 1st year of its operation in India. Digit Insurance started its operation in October 2017 and since then has achieved several milestones.
