Dr Rana Kapoor, YES BANK Founder, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, was appointed as the new Senior Vice-President, ASSOCHAM, while Mr Sunil Kanoria, Vice-Chairman of SREI Infrastructure Finance Limited, will now take over as the Vice-President of ASSOCHAM.
Accepting the new role Dr Kapoor said, “it is a great honour for me and for YES BANK. I look forward to further build ASSOCHAM’s Knowledge Chamber positioning. It will be a unique opportunity to build sustainable dialogue between Industry and Government through this apex industry association platform. ASSOCHAM has been in the forefront of various government industry consultations on various key issues.”
Earlier, Hon’ble Finance Minister Shri Pranab Mukherjee set the agenda for the day with his erudite speech covering many significant macroeconomic issues followed by another important delivery by the Guest of Honour, Dr M. Veerappa Moily, Hon’ble Minister of Corporate Affairs.
