Bengaluru, July 14, 2015, : The road show held in Bangalore is a prelude to ACREX India 2016, South Asia’s largest exhibition on Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Refrigeration & Building Services which will take place in Mumbai from February 25-27, 2016. All the issues and trends on Emerging Technologies for Smart Cities and High Rise Buildings, which will be discussed in the industry meet will be taken forward on a national level at ACREX India 2016.

With bigger scale new projects coming up in today’s environment requirements of services like HVAC, Fire Fighting and Plumbing are much more demanding and require a higher level of engineering and coordination between all services. With huge energy requirement of bigger projects there is tremendous pressure to plan and deliver projects that are energy efficient and sustainable. ASHRAE, ISHRAE, FSAI and IPA have come together to make the stake holders in the project and society in general aware on new requirements of big projects.

Mr. Pankaj Dharkar , President of M/s. Pankaj Dharkar & Associates and National President of Fire and Security Association of India says, “In today’s era, the middle class is the driver for an upcoming real estate market. The competitive nature of the industry has led to a large number of projects mushrooming in tier 1 and tier 2 cities at the same time invading the boundaries of the villages. This makes the requirements of services like Air-conditioning & Ventilation, Fire & Safety and Plumbing much more demanding, requiring a higher level of engineering and co-ordination between all services. One must ensure proper construction to safeguard the building from damage or loss and eliminate any threats. In view of this, we are organizing the road show to spread awareness.”

Mr. K. Ramachandran , National President, ISHRAE says “Over the last decade, to compensate for a lack of space of the rapidly growing population and to meet the rising demand of India’s real estate market, developers are constructing buildings faster and taller making cities denser to live. This scramble for growth has resulted in cutting corners on safety, legality and transparency resulting in fire due to poor design and faulty installations. This seminar aims to create awareness about the aspects of building services by which we can educate the responsibility that needs to be shared between designer, builder and occupant on engineering a safe building, practicing regular maintenance and familiarizing occupants to follow set guidelines.”

The event will see a congregation of 500 plus professionals from different fields related to building services industry attending the seminar. These gathering will be of Technical experts, Professor, Students, Building owners, Contractors and various Consultants. Seminars will be addressed by Technical Experts from different disciplines from different part of the country. The objective of the program is to disseminate knowledge and latest trends & technologies on providing amenities like Air-conditioning, Fire Safety and plumbing for high rise buildings and for Smart Cities, being developed in accordance to vision of our honorable Prime Minister.
