Mumbai, November 10, 2018: Fanzart India’s first Luxury Fan Brand in association with Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID)conducts its first Conclave on the discussion over ‘The Art of being Legal’. The discussion brought together 120 Architects & Interior Designers along with leading Architectural Design Firms which includes The Fulcrum Studio, Gayathri And Namith Architects and N G Associates at Fanzart, Bangalore studio.
The discussion touched upon the Importance on the ‘A perfect contract in an imperfect world’ the future road map of the Industry.How can an Architect protect their architectural design? The Copy Rights Act which entitles the architect to be the owner of the design at any give point, either during or after the completion on the project. Importance of a Contract which acts as the crystal clear guide to the myriad points of designing. The event emphasized on the legal issues that the Architects face while getting into a contract with contractors, builder/Clients and supported the same with several case studies. The discussion concluded on How these issues can be avoided and how, if any disputes arise, can be solved in the least disruptive way.
