New Delhi, February 06, 2018: FKCCI – PHD Chamber and Indian Air Force are conducting a Seminar and Exhibition on “Indigenisation of Indian Air Force Aviation Requirements” on February 5, 2018 at Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru. This is in continuation to the series of initiatives by Indian Air Force to meet and discuss its future requirements directly with the Private industry.
Brig HPS Bedi, PHD Chambers put together a session of Indian Industry and IAF with a focus on Indigenisation. Sugosha Advisory is the Media Partner for this event.


Mr Ravi, President of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industries, began the entire session on an extremely positive note, by outlining he huge development initiatives of the GoI, indicating huge oipportunities in MRO, High end mechanical products, aircraft spares and tools. Indicating that Karnataka is the only state with an Avistion Policy, has the eco-system to integrate the industry into a holistic might.
AVM BK Sood, VSM, ACAS(MP), indicated that industry must get familiar with the procedures to eb able to seamlessly get into the system.
JetendraGavankar, AVP, ADANI, strongly advocated development of MSMEs as pillars of support to the large primes and has indicate that Adanis would go around the country to find the gems and integrate them into their supply chain. With a focus on indigenous development, he was hopeful that with such progressive policies the Armed Forces would be supported from within the geography in the near future. The Strategic Partnership model must be progressed expeditiously.
Jan Widerstorm, SAAB, indicated that the focus on R&D is essential for progress with R&D effort flowing down to the MSMEs.
Col KV Kuber, CEO Sugosha Advisory, complimented the GoI for the progressive policies and encouraged effective and speedy implementation. For all the hope and energy available in the industry, orders have to flow. Col Kuber stressed the need for the Strategic Partnership model to be implemented on mission mode and exploit the Defence Industrial Corridors of Chennai-Bangalore to progress indigenous development. The RFI for the Single Engine aircraft, with true potential must be released soon. Offsets Policy must be ,made applicable to the revenue procurements also and utilised innovatively, to enhance indigenous development and exports.
