Frazer and Haws launches a new festive collection as it turns 150 years

New Delhi, October 05, 2019: Silversmiths Frazer and Haws, established in 1869 celebrates 150 years of fine silverware this year.

In keeping with its tradition of bespoke designs, a new collection has been launched with an eye on the festive season. Designed in London and hand crafted in its workshops in Delhi by 6th and 7th generation silversmiths, the collection features elegant vases, candle stands, tee light holders, photo frames, nut bowls and platters.

Apart from home decor the collection also features an exclusive range focusing on Navratras, Dhanteras and Diwali. Here in old favourites and new designs featuring Ganesha, Lakshmi, Krishna, Buddha, Shri Nath, Sai Baba, and Shiva have been brought out – each piece is hand crafted by a team of in house artisans.

This year, there has also been a big focus on creating designs and pieces under the Joint Art Initiative. “We collaborated with award winning artists  such as Shri Lallan Singh, stone work Artist, Shri Babla Seeth, Metal Works Artist t and Shri BR Pundit, ceramic artist to create a range inspired by Kashmir Valley” says Chanda Narang. “As silversmiths celebrating 150 years we felt it was important for us to keep a focus on innovation”
