GlobalLinker signs MoU with Thailand India Business Council

  • Creates new platform called Thailand India GlobalLinker to boost networking and trade opportunities for SMEs between India and Thailand
  • Initiative expected to bring over 40,000 SMEs from various trade bodies registered in Thailand & India onto the GlobalLinker platform

Mumbai, September 25, 2019: GlobalLinker, a digitization platform for SMEs, today signed an MoU with Thailand India Business Council (TIBC). As part of the MoU, a customized GlobalLinker platform called ‘Thailand India GlobalLinker will be created, to facilitate digital business networking between SMEs from India and Thailand as well as connect SMEs to all the GlobalLinker members across Asia. 

A new corridor between India and Thailand will be created to connect SMEs, to enable them to strike new trade deals. It is estimated that this initiative will bring over 40,000 SMEs from Thailand & India onto the GlobalLinker platform.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Prashant Shetty, COO of GlobalLinker and Ms. Khun Prim Jitcharoongphorn , Chairperson of Thailand India Business Council, in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand and Minister of Commerce in Thailand H.E. Mr. Jurin Laksanawisit at a networking event aimed at boosting Indo-Thai trade connections.
