Great Sports Infra is the company that is redefining the face of sports infrastructure in the SAARC region. It started as a vision, which has since been accompanied with hard work, integrity, perseverance, team work and determination, and has by now attained the most coveted place in the field of Sports Infrastructure in India. And this is just the start.
We started in 2004 by introducing next-generation long-pile artificial grass for sports and landscaping to India, and have come a long way since then. With a very humble beginning and educating the Indian market about using FieldTurf artificial grass as an alternative to natural grass, there was also a need to set it apart from the old-generation, carpet-like turf. We distinguished ourselves with delivering the best product in the world, accompanied with exemplary, consistent service delivery. Major breakthroughs happened with us installing SAARC region’s first FIFA-standard football field at Chowgulle College, Goa in early 2005 and the iconic Salt Lake Stadium, world’s second largest soccer stadium. To date, we have installed a dozen FIFA standard soccer fields in India. Apart from this, the same turf also found extensive usage in homes, corporate, academies, terraces, playgrounds, schools and various other applications.
While this ground-breaking artificial grass gained more footing in India, the company gained breadth as well. With an outlook to introduce new generation sports infrastructure solutions to Indian markets, we added SnapSports, inter-locking modular sports flooring, from US. Then we went forward to expand our portfolio with wooden and PVC floorings (Tarkett from France), synthetic athletic tracks (Porplastic from Germany) and synthetic acrylic courts, all of them certified by various governing world bodies for highest levels of play.
By now, fully equipped with complete surface solutions, we decided to bring to the Indian markets SubAir System, world’s leading automatic turf-conditioning system that allows vacuum-powered drainage of excess water and sub-surface aeration. We introduced it to India and added another dimension to the product, now offering it worldwide for cricket outfields as well.
And not just the best products globally, but we also ensure a perfect installation with our team of highly skilled technicians and engineers, using the best equipments.
Over 5000 delighted clients in India and neighboring countries are testimony to our staunch belief in delivering high-quality solutions. FIFA, FIH & IAAF and other world bodies have awarded their highest rating to our installations.

Doing good while doing well: We take pride in doing our bit of social responsibility. For a country that often loses great talent due to lack of support, Great Sports Infra has supported many budding sportspersons including Rani Rampal (Awarded “Best Young Player of the Tournament” by FIH at the Women’s Hockey World Cup 2010), Anurag Kuruvada (U-7 State Chess Champion) and also contributed to many charitable institutions. We are also proud to have extended our support to Anu Vidhyanathan – Indian tri-athlete and the first Indian to qualify for the Half Ironman World Championships and the first Asian to compete and finish the Ultraman Triathlon.
