IMS Noida invited to participate in the launch program of ICDL Digital Marketing Module in India

New Delhi, November 12, 2016: IMS Noida, one of the leading management institutes of India, has been invited to mark its significant participation in the launch of (ICDL) Digital Marketing Module in India yesterday. The event was held at the prestigious PHD Chamber of Commerce, New Delhi. International Computer Driving License (ICDL) is the world’s leading computer skills certification. It has launched its digital marketing module to develop the future of digital skills in India. During the event, Dr. KJS Anand, Executive Director IMS Noida, was invited to be one of the panelists to speak on the “Future of Digital Skills in Education”. The chief guest for the event was Shri. MVV Prasada Rao, Director of CBSE.

The event began with the opening remarks by Dr. Jatinder Singh, Sr. Secretary, PHD Chamber and Shri. Tahsin Zahid, Co-Chairman, Skill Development Committee, PHD Chamber of Commerce. That was followed by a special address by Shri. Damien O’Sullivan, CEO, ICDL. Subsequently, the Digital Marketing Module was launched by the honorary Chief Guest Shri. MVV Prasada Rao. While launching the module, Shri. Rao emphasised on the challenges in present education system of India and how to overcome them by adopting digital way.

At the panel discussion about future of digital skills in education, Dr. KJS Anand enlightened the importance of digital assistance in every field including education. He also discussed about the ENCASE theory for the teachers, that can help them guide the students in a better way, bringing preferable changes to the education system. ENCASE stands for Effectiveness, Networking, Creativity, Analytics, Screening and Efficiency.

Expressing his views, Dr. Anand said, “This is the digital era and it has become the vital requirement of each and every sector, education being no exclusion. The students should be aided with a digital skill set to face the real life situations as today’s students are tomorrow’s workforce.”
