New Delhi, December 24, 2019: India’s youngest pianist Gauri Mishra performed at the “Live Piano Concert” at the India Habitat Center in Delhi. , Gauri Mishra was joined by Mr. Ramesh Chandra Jain (on guitar), Mr. Pradeep Kumar Sarkar (on tabla), Mr. Anoop Kumar (on percussionist) and Shankar Raman V (on mridangam). The same Hawaiian guitar player Mr. Neil Ranjan Mukherjee and tabla player Ustad Akram Khan gave a colorful performance. Gauri amazed the audience with her beautiful performance. Gauri said that the credit for my achievement goes to my Guru (Shri Ramesh Jain and Shri Neel Ranjan Mukherjee), family, friends and well wishers, without their blessings and cooperation this could be not possible.

Gauri always believes in innovating and experimenting with her music. In this concert, the audience experienced the first time from the spectacular Indian classical music to Bollywood music, Western music and fusion. Some of the melodies played by Gauri included Raag Bageshri – Indian Classical, Game of Thrones – Western Music, Dream – Fusion, Pink Eyes – Bollywood. Gauri has been praised for her new experiment by the chief guest, special guest and honored guest. The audience was mesmerized by Gauri Mishra’s performance on various tunes.

The event was witnessed by many prominent personalities, Chief Guest Padma Bhushan Dr. Uma Sharma (Kathak Exponent), and Mrs. Usha Binoja (Joint Director, Ministry of Petroleum) were present and gave their best wishes and blessings to Gauri.

Gauri’s grandfather and grandmother (Mr. Anand Prakash Mishra and Mrs. Malti Mishra), Nani Ji (Mrs. Aruna Shukla), uncle Mr. Abhishek Mishra as well as other family members, friends and well-wishers attended the event.

Earlier also, a beautiful commendation and blessing was received from the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the new experiment in Indian classical music performed by Gauri. Sitar maestro Padma Bhushan Awardee Pt. Shri Debu Chaudhary, ICCR President Shri Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, Shri Jeetu Shankar and someother guests were also present at the event and appreciated Gauri and blessed her for her musical journey.

Gauri performed Indian classical in several classical auditoriums on piano, such as Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts, Assam Association for Culture, India Habitat Center, Siri Fort Auditorium. The Tata Power Distribution Auditorium, Manekshaw Air Force Auditorium and many more have presented their skills to a large audience.
