The Institute of Management Consultants of India (IMCI) organized an Awards Ceremony for the winners of the Summer Internship Project Contest for 2017

Hyderabad, January 01, 2017: The Hyderabad Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants of India (IMCI) is organized an Awards Ceremony for the winners of the Hyderabad Business SchoolsSummer Internship Project Contest for 2017.  This is part of IMCI’s ongoing initiatives to build strong partnerships between Industry and Academia.

As part of this program, nominations were sought for the best Summer Projects from all leading business schools in Hyderabad. The reports were evaluated on certain key parameters and the best submissions shortlisted from the following institutes:

  • VJIM (VignanJyothi Institute of Management)
  • SIBM ( Symbiosis Institute of Management) Hyderabad
  • ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad
  • NMIMS (NarseeMonje Institute of Management Studies)Hyderabad

Today the 6 finalists have given their presentation in front of a panel of multi sector experts which has adjudged the top 3 reports as winners.

K Sowjanya from VJIM, Hyderabad has been declared as the Gold Medal Winner, while PrateshYadav and Tabriz Mohta from NMIMS, Hyderabad and SIBM, Hyderabad respectively bagged the silver and bronze medals.

This contest have tested the MBA students’ ability to understand and analyze business problems, provide recommendations and articulate effectively.

Mr. Sanjay Bobde, Vice-President of National Institute of Smart Governance (NISG) will presided over this function which has been attended by leading management consultants, industry leaders, academicians and business school students.

Speaking on the Occasion, Mr. Sanjay Bobde, Vice-President, NISG said, “Need for Management education in India to focus on systematic solutions for the challenges of skill development, opportunities in rural economy and the use of technology for the development of India. He complimented the students on the excellent quality of their presentations.”
