New Delhi, March 10, 2019: The Fashion Design Council of India announces LIVA from the Aditya Birla Group, as the Associate Sponsor of the mega event. Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week (LMIFW) autumn-winter 2019 is slated from March 13-17, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in the capital.
“Sustainability for us is a continuous journey towards the well-being of all stakeholders and conserving nature.Liva has taken this step of associating with FDCI to support responsible fashion across the value chain,” said Mr. Rajeev Gopal, Global Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Birla Cellulose on Liva’s association with FDCI.
LIVA, a new-age, eco-friendly, naturally created fabric, shatters the prevalent myth of ‘if it is fashionable, it must be uncomfortable’ with its fluidity and lightness. With its soft, breezy feel of breathable comfort, it transforms not only the garment but also the person wearing it adds Mr. Rajeev Gopal.
“FDCI is forging ahead to take fashion on a greener path with a generation of new-age eco-warriors. We believe, sustainability and conscious consumption is the need of the hour. Thus, we are extremely proud to begin this new chapter with LIVA as our Associate Sponsor, as we share a common ideology,” says FDCI President Sunil Sethi.
In an era of fast fashion, when garments are tossed away faster than you can say climate change, Liva, FDCI’s new Associate Sponsor from the Aditya Birla Group, wants to encourage Conscious Consumption. With this in mind, it is kickstarting the 33rd edition of India Fashion Week with the LivaEco Green Heart Show, which hopes to change the way in which people consume fashion.
