Bengaluru, March 20, 2016: The ‘Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit’ started amid much fanfare today at the Leela Hotel, Gurgaon. The summit has attracted investors from across the world. The Chinese real estate giant Wanda and Gurgaon based M3M Group, a renowned real estate player, emerged as the largest investors in the global and national categories respectively. The M3M Group signed MOUs accumulating to Rs45,000 Crore; Investments are proposed over a period of 5-10 years in and across Haryana/Gurgaon.
The MOU was signed by SHRI BASANT BANSAL, CHAIRMAN AND FOUNDER, M3M GROUP in the august presence of Chief Minister of Haryana Shri Manohar Lal Khatter. These investments will bolster Haryana’s growth by multitudes.
M3M is a leading real estate developer of repute and is focused on Gurgaon and intends to develop best in class projects in Gurgaon. Out of the 45,000 Crores, 26,000croreswill go towards the development of a smart city project in Gurgaon. 9000 Crores towards taking forward the Prime minister’s visionaryproject ‘Housing for all’ which is a part of the Pradhanmantri Awas Yojna. The projects will have smaller size apartments and would be in the range of 30 to 60 square metres. M3M is also foraying into development of IT park and IT SEZ planned tobe developed at the cost of Rs2000 Crores. IT companies operating out of thesefacilities are expected to employ between 40,000 to 50,000 employees.
