Kochi February 28, 2014:- Magnamind Ventures has opened a large scale industrial laundry in Kinfra’s Small Industries Park at Nellad, near Kochi. The 20,000 sq ft laundry complex has a capacity of 15 tonnes a day. Sreejith Narendran, Managing Director, Magnamind Ventures said the facility will cater to the hospitality industry in Kochi, Munnar and Kumarakom, as these three tourist spots alone account of 40 tonnes of dirty linen every day. The retail division of the company, promoted by a group of UAE-based professionals, will open collection points in Kochi and Thrissur initially to collect laundry from customers to carry out dry cleaning at competitive prices. Narendran said the company has invested ₹15 crore to set up the facility.- Business Line
