Merchants Payments Theatre among exciting new initiatives atMobile Money & Digital Payments Global 2015

New Delhi, November 04, 2015: A wide range of new features and workshops demonstrating the latest innovations and developments determining the future of payments will be unveiled at this year’s Mobile Money & Digital Payments Global, taking place at The Wyndham Grand Istanbul Levent on 1-3 December. The event is co-located with the Payments Security & Authentication Conference.

Launching this year, Merchant Payments Theatre is designed to help banks, merchants and mobile network operators understand the challenges and opportunities in a rapidly accelerating digital payments marketplace, including which payment channels are worth investing in when matching channel to consumer.

With global remittance set to surpass $500 billion this year, the International Remittance Workshop , hosted by Terra, will be a valuable opportunity to learn how mobile-enabled payments offer the potential to lower costs and increase convenience for low-value, cross-border person-to-person donations.

The Internet Availability & Security Advice Centre, presented in partnership with IKI, will allow delegates to put their questions to world-renowned internet payments security experts.

The latest innovative start-ups in the rapidly growing Turkish Fintech sector will feature in the Payments Accelerator zone, an area specifically designed to showcase the start-up talent re-shaping the payments world in this dynamic market.

In an exciting new development, leading Turkish bank Bankalararasi Kart Merkezi (BKM)has become host banking partner for the event . Joining other illustrious institutions such as Deutsche Telekom, the International Finance Corporation and the Russian Electronic Money Association, BKM will undoubtedly make a valuable contribution.

In addition, the Gaining Authorisation in Europe Workshop, sponsored by NeoPay, will outline the practical aspects of obtaining an e-money licence in Europe, avoiding unnecessary pitfalls and showing delegates how to remain on the right side of the regulator.
