New Delhi, June 05, 2015: Ashiesh Roy born May 18 is an award-winning Indian actor, director, voice artiste, writer and comedian.
He is a well-established member of the Indian television, theatre and ad films industry.
He had recently appeared in 2015 Raja Natwarlal with Emraan Hashmi and Paresh Rawal and 2014 Barkhaa, which recently completed 60 days.
Apart from that Ashiesh Roy had also appeared in 2004 Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: The Forgotten Hero, 2005 Home Delivery, 2013 Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar .
He is also seen in Tv serials like Sasural Simar Ka, Jeannie Aur Juju, Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai and many more
His upcoming serial is Mere Angne Mein on Star Plus which will be on air in mid June
He has received Star Parivar Award nomination for his performance in ‘Burey Bhi Hum Bhale Bhi Hum’. In 2000, he won the RAPA Award for Best Script Adaptation of the… Jim Carrey film ‘The Mask’ in Hindi.
Ashiesh’s work as a voice actor includes The Joker (Heath Ledger) in ‘The Dark Knight’, Lovelace (Robin Williams) in ‘Happy Feet’ and Captain Hook (Dustin Hoffman) in ‘Captain Hook’. In some of his serials, he plays multiple roles, intended as a tribute to one of his idols Eddie Murphy, who played multiple roles in Coming to America, the Nutty Professor films, and others. In 2007, Ashiesh played 65 different characters in the tv series ‘Fooltoo Paagal’.
Ashiesh Roy is also a voice actor who has been dubbing for foreign films including The Dark Knight, Man of Steel, Superman Returns, RoboCop and Guardians of the Galaxy
