Mr R Shivakumar has been elected as the President of Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) for the year 2013-14.
Bangalore June 29 2013: Mr R Shivakumar has been elected as the President of Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) for the year 2013-14. He has been the Managing Committee Member of FKCCI and has headed many Committees. He was the Chairman of the Infrastructure Committee during 2009-10 and 2010-11. He is the Executive Committee Member of Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce.
He is also an active member of Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, Capexil Export Promotion Council, Public Relations Council of India (Bangalore Chapter) and Bangalore Management Association, Executive Committee Member of All India Granite & Stone Association to name a few.
He has Quarrying and Granite polishing Industries in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. He has travelled world over and is known for his charity for the underprivileged.
Mr S Sampathraman has been elected as the Senior Vice President of the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) for the year 2013-14.

Mr Sampathraman is a gold medalist in MA Economics. He worked in Reserve Bank of India, Nagpur for 9 years and further worked as Sr. Manager with Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd., Pune for 15 years. He is the Chairman and Managing Director of DPK engineers Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, well known large manufacturer of Diesel Generating Sets, for about 3 decades.
He has been closely associated with FKCCI for over 15 years and President of Karnataka Genset Manufacturers’ Association. He was elected to the Managing Committee of FKCCI for 9 years and has headed many Committees.
Mr Tallam R Dwarakanath has been elected as the Vice President of FKCCI for the year 2013-14.
Tallam R Dwarakanath has been elected as the Vice President of FKCCI for the year 2013-14. The Tallam family are the founder members of FKCCI since the year 1916. Hailing from a philanthropic business family Tallam is a renowned Industrialist and has wide experience in Textile business.
He is a Science graduate from National College Basavanagudi and the Chairman of the Managing Committee at the same school. He has been a Managing Committee member at FKCCI for 10 years now.
He was the Chairman of Tourism Sub-committee of FKCCI for the last 2 years and Member of Government of Karnataka Tourism. He is the Treasurer at Vasavi Hospital and Vasavi union. He has been a Rotarian at Rotary Bangalore South for 19 years. He has served in various capacities at club level and district level. He has widely travelled across the country and the world.
