New Delhi February 20, 2014:- The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has been implementing various schemes and programmes for promotion of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) across the country including North Eastern States. The major schemes / programmes include Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Credit Guarantee Scheme, Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme (CLCSS), National Manufacturing Competitiveness Programme, Cluster Development Programme, Marketing Development Assistance, Skill Development Programmes, International Cooperation Scheme etc.
All plan schemes implemented by Ministry of MSME are Central Sector Schemes. Therefore, funds are not allocated State-wise, under these schemes.
The plan schemes meant for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) being implemented by Ministry of MSME are of continuing nature.
