New Delhi, January 19, 2018: NainaLalKidwai was elected President FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry) for 2013 – the first woman tohead FICCI in its 86 years. She is Chairman, Max Financial Services and Advent Private Equity; a Non-Executive Director on the global board of Nestle, CIPLA Ltd and Larsen and Toubro. In 2006 she was appointed CEO of HSBC becoming the first woman to head a bank in the private sector in India. She is the recipient of numerous awards and honors in India including the Padma Shri.
