New business manager eager to help clegg food projects boost growth

New Delhi, September 07, 2019: CLEGG Food Projects has welcomed a new business development manager to its ranks as the company looks to bolster its impressive portfolio of clients.

Oliver Jenkins joins the Nottingham-based company at its Lace Market head office, bringing with him more than 15 years of sales experience across the food and drink sector.

Clegg Food Projects oversees the design, construction and management of food manufacturing facilities across the UK, working with national brands including Greggs, Coca Cola, Heineken and the Samworth Brothers.

The father of three will be working alongside business development director John Moxon, to help widen the company’s current customer base.

Oliver said: “The food and drink industry is the UK’s largest manufacturing sector and is very specialist so when I heard there was a chance to work with a business leader such as Clegg Food Projects, I jumped at the chance.

“Ultimately, I want to help our customers achieve their objectives by working closely on their capital investment plans. I also hope to identify more business opportunities and demonstrate our value when it comes to delivering projects in the industry.

“Having the chance to be out onsite and seeing our projects take shape was a big draw for me. It’s a very special feeling watching a scheme move along from its initial inception to completion.

“This is the start of a very exciting chapter in my career and I’m looking forward to helping Clegg Food Projects continue its impressive record.”

Clegg Food Projects has recently started construction work on a new state-of-the-art headquarters and brewing facility for Wells & Co in Bedford. The project will also include a pub-restaurant, retail shop, coffee roastery, offices and a visitor centre that will offer guided tours.

John Moxon, business development director at Clegg Food Projects said: “Oliver has extensive experience working with big industry brands and own label producers, so we are delighted to welcome him to the team.

“His organisational skills and ability to solve problems will prove invaluable to the team as we look to widen our customer base over the months and years to come.”
