Mumbai, June 16, 2016: Ola, India’s most popular mobile app for transportation, today announced that it has extended its services to four adjoining locations of Mumbai. Ola will now operate cabs in Virar, Vasai, Naigaon and Nalasopara and commuters in these locations can now book across categories – from the most affordable Micro to premium experience-driven Prime. Traditional transport option like Kaali-Peeli taxis will also be available on the Ola app.
Features like driver details being displayed upfront, SOS buttons, live tracking and seamless payment using Ola Money will be available across categories. Additionally, Ola’s Auto Connect Wifi, a proprietary experience from the company’s ‘Innovation Labs’, that allows users to automatically connect to Wi-Fi in an Ola cab without having to enter credentials every single time, will also be available on Ola Prime.

Ola has over 350,000 cabs and 100,000 auto-rickshaws and taxis registered on its platform across 102 cities. The company intends to launch in more locations in the future.
