New Delhi, July 13, 2016: Paladion Networks, a globally acclaimed cyber security provider, is partnering with Karnataka’s leading engineering college MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences to launch an M Tech program in Cyber security and Information Assurance. The course is a first-of-its-kind in India and aims to fill the talent crunch in the information security space.
The Curriculum is co-designed and co-administered by MSRUAS and Paladion Networks jointly, which will bring select experts from Paladion as visiting faculties to impart the most up-to-date knowledge in information security. The course will also give students access to Paladion labs and cyber security intelligence amassed from its various cyber security centers. On successful completion of the course, students would be absorbed into Paladion Networks and placed in any of its global offices. An aptitude test and interview will be part of the selection process.

In order to make the course as thorough and as best-in-class as possible, paid-internships and joint projects on live problems are also included as an integral part of the course. The faculty at M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences will also undergo training in this specialized course, so that they are qualified to impart better training to students who are aspiring to be job-ready professionals.
At the launch, Dr. MS Vijayaraghavan – Former Advisor to the Indian Government, PMO and the Chief Technology Advisor to Paladion Networks gave an inspiring speech about the opportunities, complexities and skills required in the Cyber world. He stressed that the Industry needs more than a million Cyber security professionals and this unique M.Tech in Cyber Security is a step in the right direction.
