New Delhi, November 16, 2018: Porvair Filtration Group has announced the appointment of a new General Manager, Santosh Shetty, to drive fresh growth and enhance manufacturing efficiency at its Thane facility, in India.
Mr Shetty, who has over 20 years’ worth of expertise in the filtration industry in various roles in sales and project execution, will focus on growing and maximising the productivity of Porvair’s offering in India and Bangladesh.
In particular, Mr Shetty willfocus on increasing the Chemical Process, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage, Printing, Polymer, Nuclear, Aerospace, and OEM markets.
Mr Shetty stated: “Operations commenced in India with a high value gasification project, involving the world’s largest oil refinery.
“There is a need to build on this success, as well as expanding into the other market segments that we can provide both standard and customised solutions for.”
